fridge mainstays

Obviously, the contents of my fridge change weekly depending on my meal plan. But there are some things that are always there:

skimmed milk
reduced fat mature cheese
usually one other reduced fat cheese - blue vinney, a mild French goats cheese, etc
reduced fat creme fraiche

medium eggs
butter (for special occasions)

lunchmeat of some description
fish

celery
carrots
spinach leaves
chilli

other seasonal veg (see my post on 'choosing seasonal vegetables')

lemons
limes
citrus fruit
other seasonal fruit

ketchup
mustards - note the plural: French's, wholegrain and Colman's
light mayonnaise
jars of half-used sauces - pesto, curry paste, where I've been too lazy to make them myself
decaffienated coffee
