linguine with carrot ribbons and lemon-ginger butter

Oooh, I just saw this recipe in a weekly e-newsletter in inbox from Epicurious (www.epicurious.com) and can't wait to try it:

The only red light I can see is that the recipe calls for quite a lot of butter, but I will probably be able to reduce the amount or substitute olive oil instead.
